Michael Jackson's Ex-Wife Debbie Rowe Flashes Huge Sparkler To Reveal Her Engagement ...

Debbie - who had two children Prince,17, and Paris,16, with Michael before divorcing him in 1999 - looked overjoyed as she posed alongside the late King Of Pop's former producer in a picture she posted onto the social-networking website.

Strategically placing her left hand on her fiancée's chest, she revealed a huge sparkler on her ring finger.

The former nurse didn't mention anything about an engagement, instead choosing to caption the picture : "With Marc! (sic)"

Debbie revealed to TMZ that the engagement was a long-time coming as she had turned down Marc's proposal - and a 3.55 carat diamond ring! - three weeks ago as she "worried" after doctors thought she had cancer.

"I had gone into the hospital before and they were worried about cancer. And I didn't feel that I could say 'yes' knowing that," Debbie explained.
However, the 55-year-old was told by doctors on Wednesday that she has sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease that causes patches of swollen tissue to appear throughout the body.

There is no known cure for the condition but unlike cancer it is not terribly life threatening, and she decided to celebrate the good news by accepting her beau's proposal.

Debbie recalled: "The doctor said, 'You're good to go.' I drove up to the house and I said 'OK I'm here, and I'm going to be here for a while, so I'm going to marry you.' "

Debbie and Marc's romance blossomed in the years after her divorce from Michael - who died in 2009 - and she says the star's children have formed a good relationship with her new partner.

She gushed: "He loves me, knows my kids, loves my kids and we'll see where this goes. The kids have known him since they were little and they like him a lot."
