Working hoverboard, floating light bulb:

I tried the Bambu Lab $63 kit that lets you 3D print your own magnetic levitating toys complete with wireless power for their lights! It’s part of its Maker’s Supply initiative where it stocks electronic and mechanical components to design around.

I put four robot lawnmowers through a brutal backyard battle0

These autonomous cutters show promise, but there’s still a ways to go before you should trust one in your yard.

Framework will open US preorders for Laptop 12 after all: tomorrow, starting at $549.

9AM PT tomorrow, April 10th, and they’ll ship in June, just like the UK/EU/Canada ones that already went on preorder today during the Trump tariff flip-flop kerfuffle.

Four years later, Fujifilm announces the Instax Mini 41.

Fujifilm just announced the redesigned successor to the $99 Instax Mini 40 it introduced in 2021. A minor upgrade, the Instax Mini 41 retains its vintage look but notably now includes the parallax correction feature found in the Instax Mini 12. This should help users avoid shooting off-center images in close-up mode, though we’ll have to test it to determine whether that claim is true.

Fujifilm has yet to release details about pricing, but says that it should be available by the end of April.

I just got done demoing the Switch 2 and boy are my arms tired.

The Nintendo kicked off its new console generation with a very flashy bang. The Verge had the opportunity to go hands-on with the console, testing out a bunch of games and features revealed during yesterday’s direct presentation. I got to play Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Mario Kart World, a little bit of Breath of the Wild, Donkey Kong Bananza and so much more. Here’s our thoughts.
