Speaking to reporters at the White House Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump defended his use of the term "Chinese Flu" to describe COVID-19, saying its use was a deliberate retaliation for claims that the virus was brought to China by U.S. military personnel.
Trump also added that he doesn't think the U.S. airline industry is at fault for the spread of COVID-19 across the globe, and pledged to help the domestic airline industry recover from the impacts of the virus' spread.
Trump also said that on "the day" that COVID-19 outbreak is contained, Americans "will know" when they "all of a sudden say wow, that's looking good."
